Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and GEO services: get cited by ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity
Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), also called Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), is the practice of getting AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Copilot) to cite your company as a source. Sylvara Creative prepares your site with structured data, answer-first content, entity consistency and off-site brand mentions, then monitors where you get cited. Free visibility check.
What's included
AI visibility audit
We measure how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and AI Overviews describe you today, and who gets cited instead of you.
Structured data and entity
JSON-LD (Organization, Service, FAQ, Article) with consistent @ids and the same identity across your site, profiles and directories.
Citable content
40-60 word direct answers, question headings, tables, comparisons and sourced statistics: the format AI engines extract and cite.
Off-site authority
Brand mentions on LinkedIn, directories (Clutch, GoodFirms) and communities. Mentions correlate more with AI visibility than backlinks do.
llms.txt and AI crawlers
We configure robots.txt and llms.txt so OAI-SearchBot, Claude-SearchBot, PerplexityBot and others can read and cite you.
Citation monitoring
Monthly tracking of which prompts mention you, how often, and against which competitors.

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between SEO, AEO and GEO?
SEO optimizes for Google's ranked results. AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) are near-synonyms: they optimize for being cited by AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews. They complement each other: SEO is the foundation, AEO/GEO adds the AI layer.
How do I get my company to show up in ChatGPT?
You need solid organic SEO, content written as clear direct answers, structured data (schema), a consistent entity across sources, brand mentions on third-party sites, and open access for AI crawlers (OAI-SearchBot, Claude-SearchBot, PerplexityBot). We implement all of it and measure the outcome.
Does AEO replace SEO?
No. It builds on SEO, but ranking alone is no longer enough: Ahrefs (March 2026, 4M URLs) found only 38% of pages cited in AI Overviews rank in the organic top 10, and Semrush's studies show third-party brand mentions matter more than links. You need both.
How long until we see results?
Technical work (schema, crawler access, answer structure) shows impact within weeks, because AI engines fetch fresh content. Consistent citations on competitive prompts take 3 to 6 months, together with off-site brand authority.
Shall we start with a diagnosis?
A free first call to understand your business and the problem to solve. We work in English and Spanish with companies in the United States, Canada, Spain, Argentina and Uruguay.
